Description
“Advanced level: Online Academic Data Analysis Bootcamp Using Open-Access Program R” is the final of the 3 levels – essential, intermediate, and advanced topics.
This level builds upon the essential and intermediate levels to complete the discovery journey, allowing you to quickly and easily access advanced analytical options to unlock the power behind this tremendous open-access tool. The pedagogical style, program and content of this course is designed to mentor participants to be autonomous learning agents in R and data analysis.
This course will simplify access to analytical protocols only available to experienced programmers and expert statisticians, such as resampling statistics and bootstrapping, advanced methods for missing data, multilevel linear models, automating repeated analysis and writing own functions, automation of unbiased evidence synthesis (literature and systematic reviews) and conducting meta-analyses. We have also included an interesting workshop “Gentle Introduction to AI: Machine and Deep Learning in R,” as part of this year’s course.
Requirements
You must have completed a minimum equivalent of an introduction to R (Essential level). However, you require passion to learn and need basic knowledge on how to use a computer/ laptop. You can also prepare for your personal research application of the concepts learned. You are welcome to bring your data analysis questions to the resource persons.
